What do you get when you mix a musical hermit and a Yamaha PSR-290 keyboard? This little ditty.
The original version was born well over a year ago on my acoustic guitar with two short verses. One night several weeks ago, I was in a creative mood and thought it would be fun to record a different version using sounds from my keyboard. Acoustic bass, pizzicato strings, tenor sax, flute, muted trumpet, and trombone later, we have the first cheesy-sounding instrumental version of “You Still Have Me”.
Now it sounds like a theme song.
